La HEAD, a dry head spa in Nishi-Shinjuku, is looking for new team members as we expand our services.
La HEAD opened in Nishi-Shinjuku in March 2026.
We are grateful that, little by little, more and more people have come to know us, and alongside new guests, the number of guests who return again and again has been growing.
To welcome even more guests, and with an eye on La HEAD’s growth in the years ahead, we would now like to bring new people onto our team.
What La HEAD aims for is not simply to offer a “dry head spa that feels nice.”
Work, housework, relationships, and the constant stream of information from our smartphones.
Living in today’s world, even when we think we are resting our bodies, our minds are always busy thinking about something.
That is exactly why we believe we all need time, now and then, to think about nothing and let both mind and body fully relax.
Stepping slightly away from everyday life, spending time that leaves even your mind feeling lighter, and then, after leaving the salon, moving forward again as yourself.
“Drift gently into stillness. And from there, forward.”
These words carry that very spirit of La HEAD.
Not just offering comfort in the moment, but creating time for hardworking, busy people to step away from daily life, rest body and mind, and then move forward again.
That is what we hope to achieve through La HEAD.
Our treatments, too, do not end with simply loosening the head.
We treat the head, neck, shoulders and arms as one connected whole, and we care for each guest attentively, adapting to their condition.
We also believe that great service is not built on technique alone.
La HEAD is a salon of fully private rooms, and its interior reflects the craftsmanship of artisans who have also worked on restoring Important Cultural Properties.
Lighting, scent, sound, hospitality, treatment, and even the sense of distance we keep with each guest—taking all of this together, we cherish the time itself that guests spend at La HEAD.
Our attention to the space is not only for our guests.
We also want it to be a place where the staff who work here every day can take pride in their work and give their full, wholehearted attention to the guest in front of them.
In this round of hiring, we are not looking for someone who is perfect at everything from day one.
We value people who respect the experience and skills they have built so far, while staying open to absorbing new techniques and ideas.
Above all, we value the ability to care attentively for the guest in front of you.
Rather than each person only doing their own job, we want to share what we notice and our ideas with one another, and build better service and a better salon together.
Rather than a way of working where each person works alone, La HEAD aims to be a salon that grows as a team.
La HEAD is not yet a large, established brand.
That is exactly why those who join us now will not just carry out assigned tasks, but will be part of the very process of the salon’s growth.
In the future, we are also considering opening additional locations.
Even as our locations and team grow, we want to keep our commitment to each guest in front of us, and the values La HEAD holds dear, unchanged as we grow.
You want to keep growing as a therapist.
You want to build a better salon together with your teammates.
Through your skills and hospitality, you want to give someone the time they need to face forward again.
If that sounds like you, we would be delighted if La HEAD could become a place where you can work for many years while taking on new challenges.
Details such as working conditions, open positions, the selection process and pay are posted on the job site below.
